I just found this, thought it was quite interesting mainly because of who will be presenting it.
Channel 4 are going to be doing a live 90 minute program of the earth from the international space station, now some people won't understand the appeal of watching the earth for 90 minuets as it does a full rotation, I think that channel 4 seems to think that using Dermot O'Leary who presents The X factor and Britons Got Talent will bring in those people who wouldn't watch it unless they new the presenter, the obvious choice for a space program presenter would be Brian cox, but in using Dermot they might gain a wider audience, possibly a lot of young people.
